Vintage Mother Goose Shoes Advertising Light Up Store Display Sign WORKS

This vintage Mother Goose advertising store display is from the 1950s to 1960's, and is a delightful find for any collector of advertising memorabilia. The colorful illustration and design capture the whimsy of the popular children's nursery rhyme and the joy and comfort of wearing Mother Goose shoes. Made in USA, this original piece is a testament to the charm and durability of our history of classic product advertising. The electrical plug is in excellent working condition, the advertising display light works (see photo showing light on), uses one common appliance 15 watt light bulb, has an aluminum body box with hang hole, front is curved painted plastic with bright colorful lettering. Item is in very good to excellent working condition.

Minor flaws are that a few letters on the front face have hairline paint scratches, and there is a dot spot in the O of Mother (see photos), but this does not detract from the item, and is typical considering the vintage age of the item, and the fact that it was a working shoe store advertising item. Dimensions measure 12" height, 8" width, and approximately 5 depth. Plan on having to replace the bulb, so you aren't disappointed if it breaks in transit. This multi-color advertising light-up sign is unique and whimsical, and will make a great display piece in any home or office. A child's bedroom or nursery, or is super fun being displayed with other advertising signs.
