Rare 1960's salesman sample for the Washington Brick Company. These are actual bricks that are held together by Signode wrapped metal straps around the sides and a carrying handle on the top. The cardstock/paper tag sign states that this sample is submitted to show texture and range of the brick proposed to furnish. Very cool piece recently pulled out of the attic of an old store. Stands approximately 18.5" tall to the top of the handle, about 8" x 3.6 wide.
