An extremely rare and difficult to find piece of Peter Schuyler Cigar memorabilia. One of the very best 20th century advertising displays for the company. In store promotional cardboard ad has three sections that all go together. It measures 45" wide and 29" tall.
This rich display shows the manufacturing process of this classic and favorite cigar brand. This was found in the back of an old tobacco shop and is believed to have been crafted sometime in the 1920s. This is a Neograph sign that uses Pure Oil Paints and was manufactured by the Schaefer - Ross Company in Rochester, New York. The sign is in good condition but. Does show some tears on edge and torn circle in center. The three sections are attached with a webbing like tape on the edges which is starting to become fragile from age. I try to provide as many quality photos as possible for your review. Please refer to the photos as the best representation of the quality.
