It's approximately 14"L x 13"W x 5.5D. It's the power source that weighs the most. It has a plastic translucent face with metal housing. This light just plugs right in and works perfectly. The intent is that the sign would hang on a shelf. I actually have never hung it in my years of ownership. It can really be installed wherever or however you want, not just on a shelf. Overall condition is excellent, but there are a couple very light scuffs as shown in the photos. There's a small surface crack on the bottom right corner of the plastic as well.
