This extremely rare, hard-to-find General Electric Edison Mazda Lamp lithographed advertising display is a "Lampville" cardboard carton building which can be constructed into a 3-D structure. Included is Mazda Lamp storefront/service station garage. This has never been put together and still have all flaps and perforated pieces. The building has the instructions printed on one flap along with a diagram on how it should look completed.
Following are the instructions shown on the carton. 3 1930 General Electric Co. He windows and doors of this store have been scored. They may be pushed open and orange or yellow tissue or crepe paper pasted behind them. A Christmas tree lamp string may be used inside the store to light it.
Use a pin to punch holes in Electric Sign over store front. (Indications for holes shown on back of sign). This gives a lighted sign effect.
Cut and open garage doors and use garage for your small car or other toys. This carton must be used for supplying Edison MAZDA Lamps only. To use as a store, Cut out and raise sign board on top of store front and rear. Cut out the small figures same as you would paper dolls leaving card board at base of each figure to hold it upright.Place in front of store windows. Size: Measures approximately 13.5" x 16" flat. Has numerous small stains near garage area (see photo) along with a vertical indentation. New Old Stock Advertising item is 100% complete and never used.
