F97566 LONG ISLAND NY 1930s/40s Sunrise Studio Photography 12x18 Sign

DESCRIPTION - Photography studio sign came from a Long Island New York home - nice graphics on paper. Based upon the frame, appears to be from 1930s/40s.

The owner was a professional photographer and acquired this sign many years ago but did not remember any history on the studio. The sign is in an old frame that is 11.75 x 17.5 inches in size. The original owner had it professionally backed with paper and it has the original wire and eye-hooks for hanging. I have tried to locate information on the studio but only came up with a Sunrise Studio in New York City. I have just not been able to locate a possible thread to follow.

There were a number of early to mid-20. Century photographers on Long Island. Some of the quite notable - such as Frey and Vail.
