Welcome To The Antique Cabinet. For your consideration is an extraordinarily rare Tin Litho. Magazine Store Display Stand, circa 1950s.

This is without a doubt a very scarce advertising piece. Along with never seeing one before, we were actually unable to find another example doing an extensive web search. We did not find a makers mark on it anywhere but there are "part numbers" on the bottom edges. The colors and graphics are wonderful, the lower three sides depict stacked magazine edges which is just awesome! When we acquired this unique piece, there were 12 misc. Magazines with it see last 2 pics. They are all different and with the lot consisting of 2-1947 editions, 4-1948, 1-1949, 1-1954, 1-1957,1-1959 and 2-1960. 32 at tallest by 11 wide by 14 deep. The stand is in excellent vintage condition with no repairs etc. The magazines for the most part appear to be complete but do have age related wear such as tears, staining and that sweet musky old magazine aroma - sniff at your own risk. An outstanding Collector or Decorative Piece of mid-century Advertising!
