Extra Rare 1930's Neon Butterfly Advertising Sign Store Display Figural 36

Up for consideration is an extremely rare and mesmerizing table top Neon Store Displays with original neon workings. The piece measures about 36 inches wide by 26 inches and stands about 24 inches in height however that is adjustable. Can't seem to find anything about the piece other than it has a "Jefferson Electric" Chicago based company made the transformer or mechanism for the neon light. Going by that info it dates some time after 1931but before WWII.

The wings are hinged and there springs on there as well as set screws. I believe a slight breeze would cause the wings to move.

A large circular stand holds the butterfly body on a hinge mechanism and at the other end is finial which allows the bracket to attach to a cast aluminum figural branch or log. It really is the greatest. I have really put an honest effort into trying to come up with the details however I came up blank.... Perhaps it's related to some sort of hair product etc.. You get to have bragging rights while showing this one.
