The frame is a green/teal tone metal along with chrome surrounds and the sign parts are plastic. Overall very nice vintage condition.
The plastic sections could use a good cleaning. I wiped the face off a bit w/ Windex. The gunky look youre seeing on the front (visible more in illuminated images) is mostly from the inside which I barely touched and definitely needs cleaning. I reached in a bit (around the area of the base of the first P and you can see the difference a little elbow grease made). Ill let you clean the remainder. The original plug is in good shape and as I said, it rotates just fine. You may want to replace the fluorescent bulb inside just for safetys sake as its old a dirt. What an amazing find for any advertising collection or man-cave! LOCAL PICK-UP AVAILABLE (and encouraged) from scenic NUTLEY, NEW JERSEY (we're a short distance from MetLife Stadium where those two lousy "New York" football teams play). Dont dilly-dally on this lot!
